Do you have a horoscope to make a killing in the stock market?

Don’t invest a dime if you haven’t! Part-I

We all have looked wistfully at people who have made a killing at the stock market. We envy them and wish that we could be like that too. Some of us follow their foot steps and invest our hard earned money. Very few succeed. Most of us slowly lose the capital we started out with. Why does this happen? What is the basis of gains and losses at stock market and speculation? In the following paragraphs we shall take a detailed look. Stock market and speculation are linked to good fortune, financial gains and savings. If one out of these three is missing the process fails. In a horoscope, the second house rules over wealth, the fifth over speculation and the eleventh over financial gains. All these three houses along with their planet lords should be strong. If those conditions are fulfilled there will be abundant and repeated gains from speculations of all kinds.

The fifth house has domain over speculation and children as also the good Karma brought forward from past lives. A strong fifth lord, not blemished by aspect or association from malefics gives success in speculatory activities. If there is a relationship with the eleventh lord of gains, it indicates that speculation will be the source of gains. If the second lord is also involved, it implies that the wealth created through speculation will be reinvested to generate more wealth. This upward spiral is what really successful investors like Warren Buffet have in their horoscopes. They have the same skills that most well trained stock brokers have but what separates them from the rest is their instinct about the market.

There are a few ascendants that have the same planet as the lord of the second and the fifth house. For example for Taurus ascendant, Mercury becomes the lord of the second as well as the fifth house. If Mercury is strong and unblemished by malefic planets like Mars, Saturn and Rahu, Taurus born will be quite successful in the stock market. If eleventh lord Jupiter is also favorably placed, their success is certain.

The other ascendant which has the same second and fifth lord is Scorpio. In this case Jupiter becomes the lord of the second and fifth houses. A strong Jupiter will give excellent results pertaining to wealth and speculation. This especially so as Jupiter is also the Karak or significator of wealth. If Jupiter and Mercury are involved in a Yoga by association or exchange a great deal of wealth is generated. If Jupiter and Mercury are placed in the fifth and Moon goes to the eleventh house, this becomes an excellent combination for wealth and good fortune. This transpires as Moon rules over the eleventh house and her placement in the eleventh house of gain establishes a link between gains and good fortune. Moon-Jupiter opposition creates Gaj Kesri Yog and Mercury opposite Moon creates an Adhi Yog.

Eleventh lord Mercury in this case rules over the eighth house also. This should not create any misunderstanding as the Mool Trikon (main and coveted) sign of Mercury falls in the eleventh house.

Using the basic principals involved in wealth through speculation, we are now in a position to analyze all ascendant from Aries to Pisces. In the next Blog we shall endeavor to do so.
